Morgan Pastoral is a 100% family owned farming and feedlot business. Owners, Ben and Anita Morgan, along with their team, operate an aggregation of properties in the Moola and Quinalow district of south-east Queensland.
The Morgan Family have been farming in the Moola area since the 1960’s and began producing grain fed beef in the 1980’s. From these beginnings, the business has continued to grow and develop with a steady and considered approach to now have the scale and systems of a corporate business, whilst maintaining the commitment, knowledge, flexibility of a family business.
Today, Morgan Pastoral is one of the largest producers of grain fed beef in Australia. The growth in our business presents great opportunity to join us, and develop your skills and experience.

Graduate – Animal Production

  • Utilise your study and qualifications in animal production/science to develop within intensive ag

  • Spend time across all areas of the feedlot and farm, to build your practical skills and understanding

  • Exposure to planning, scheduling, and development programs to build your management skills

  • Ability to complete trials and research ‘on the job’

  • Grow into the opportunities for advancement, and know how things work from the ground up

  • Highly competitive wage package



Head Stockperson

  • Have a passion for working with cattle and horses

  • Enjoy leading people, communicating clearly and leading by example

  • Have well developed skills on a cattle property or feedlot

  • Focussed on getting the best our of yourself, and those around you

  • Wages and benefits above industry and award




  • Have a passion for working with cattle, you need to have own own horses and tack.

  • Newly constructed horse stables and tack room

  • Variety in role, assisting with all aspects of livestock management (induction, drafting, health, trucking)

  • 10 day on 4 day off roster.
