Rocklea/ Hamersley Station's are breeding and fattening properties, and we primarily run Droughtmasters. Our closest neighbour is the iconic Karijini National Park and we are also within driving distance of Milstream National Park, Ningaloo Reef and the Dampier Archipelago

 

We are currently seeking competent and friendly station hands to start ASAP.

 

We are approximately an hour away from both Paraburdoo and Tom Price. There is Telstra coverage at the homestead, and some coverage across most of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mustering (Motorbikes, buggies and horses)

• Yarding, drafting and processing livestock

• Feeding and monitoring livestock

• Bore Runs (Checking and repairing solar water points)

• Fencing and yard building

• Machinery operation

• Other station duties as required

 

About You:

• Healthy and fit – must be able to pass a medical clearance, including drug and alcohol screening

• Great attitude and work ethic

• Respectful to others and friendly nature

• Punctual, tidy, and attentive

• Must be able to capably ride a 2-wheel motorbike

• Ability and willingness to work autonomously and within a team

• Relevant skills to be able to complete key responsibilities as above

• Must love living in a remote area and communal environment

• Positive, friendly, can-do attitude

• Long term goals in cattle and/or agricultural industry

• 4WD Experience

• Mustering and stock handling experience

• Horse riders will be looked upon favourably, however, not essential

• Legally able to work in Australia

• Current full car license (Truck, machinery and motorbike license all advantageous)

• Due to state mandates, you will need to:
  - Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
