Tobermorey Station is part of family owned Redrock Trading Company with multiple properties in the NT and central QLD. Tobermorey Station is a 1.5M acre, 10,000+ head cattle breeding operation located in the NT. We are situated approximately 6hr SW of Mount Isa and 3hr W of Boulia in QLD and 6hr east of Alice Springs on the Plenty Highway.

Job Description: We are seeking a Head Stockperson to join our existing team. Candidates with the following experience, skillset and attitude is highly desired:

​

Head Stockperson:

• Minimum 2-3 years previous experience part of or leading a team on a cattle station

• Competent ability to lead, manage and train staff in a consistent and mature manner on a daily basis, and take instruction well from management as well as a proactive attitude.

• Demonstrate competency in Low-stress stock handling, solid level of experience on motor bikes for mustering.

• High level of attention to detail in livestock processing, data recording/collection and animal husbandry.

• Competent in all general property maintenance tasks including welding.

• Sound mechanical knowledge and have the attitude that maintaining station vehicles, and all property is an absolute priority
