As the largest privately owned livestock transporter in Australia, Road Trains of Australia (RTA) prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of 90+ prime movers.

RTA are currently seeking Road Train Drivers to join the business on a casual or full time basis. Based in Muchea (40km NE of Perth) and Geraldton (430km North of Perth), you will drive across WA and interstate transporting cattle and livestock for various clients.

Job Type: Full Time or Casual

  • Must have MC Licence & cattle carting experience

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description: As a Road Train Driver your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing daily pre-start checks

  • Driving to a safe and professional standard

  • Handling and managing cattle and livestock safely

  • Completing paperwork including logbooks and trip sheets to a satisfactory standard

  • Complying with all company policies & procedures

  • Complying with the Chain of Responsibility

Essential requirements for the Truck Driver are:

  • A valid MC driver's licence

  • Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessment, including a Commercial Driver Fitness assessment

  • A valid MSIC card or willing to obtain

  • Provide Rights to work in Australia

  • Willingness to complete and pass: Commercial Vehicle Drivers Fatigue Online Assessment
