They are actively recruiting for a Station Cook to join the team at Donors Hill located in the Gulf of Carpentaria - 240km north of Cloncurry, QLD.

Job Description/ Overview: The Station Cook will be responsible for cooking for a stock camp of up to 20 people, and catering for management and guests throughout the season. With recent homestead renovations completed, including a new kitchen, this position comes with a full furnished private cottage.

​

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cooking for a stock camp of up to 20 people, and catering for management and guests throughoutthe season.

• Ensuring the kitchen area is kept clean and tidy

• Doing stock takes on food stocks and ordering groceries

• Previous cooking experience is preferred but not essential.

• The successful applicant will be:

• Energetic with a keen interest in cooking for a hungry team who like steak!

• Previous experience living in isolation/a remote location preferred.

• Own vehicle/transport preferred but not essential.

• Well presented with a sense of professionalism
