Diamond Cattle Co is a family operated cattle breeding & backgrounding business, with properties in Northern, Western & Southern QLD.

 

The Station Hand is based on “Cooinda”, located 65kms north west of Winton but does involve travel throughout QLD to complete stock management.

 

Start: Early 2022

 

Job Description (Station Hand):

• The position requires a self-motivated individual with at least basic experience in cattle husbandry & station maintenance.

• You will work alongside the business owners & will have the opportunity to complete a range of different training options.

• If you are interested in profitable beef cattle production, business management, animal nutrition, machine or truck licensing & being part of a proactive team, this position could be the one you are looking for.

 

Essential/ Desired Skills:

• Motorbike skills are essential

• Truck licence & machine operation experience is an advantage.
