EXPERIENCED STATION HAND

Tawarri Pastoral Company is a family-owned mixed farming and grazing operation with properties in NSW and Queensland. We have a full-time position for an experienced station hand at our property at Glenmorgan. “Earlwood” is located 25 kilometres from Glenmorgan and is a 26,000 acre mixed cattle and dry-land cropping operation.

We are looking for a proactive, responsible and respectful team member who is keen to further their industry skills and experience.

​

Job Description: Reporting to the property manager, you will be required to take a very hands-on role with the livestock and property operations including vehicle and plant maintenance, fencing and general station duties.

The candidates will ideally have the following:

• Livestock and/or farming experience.

• An enthusiastic, proactive and positive attitude to work

• Excellent communication skills

• Be clean and well presented with polite manners

• Good all-round skills regarding livestock work, farm maintenance, fencing, machine and vehicle maintenance and repairs and yard maintenance.

• Responsible attitude and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time

• Drivers licence and own transport

Successful applicants will need to be experienced, honest, reliable, dedicated and possess high level communication skills.
