The Opportunity:

Harvest Road is currently seeking a driven and energetic Station Hand/All Rounder to join the 2022 Season, based on our Minilya Station, in the Gascoyne Region, WA. 

​

This role would suit someone who is willing to learn and build a career, with a strong work ethic and passion to contribute towards and learn about the Northern Beef industry. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a progressive business, with a strong commitment to Australian Agriculture.

Responsibilities: 

• Always demonstrate commitment to safe working practises and animal welfare. 

• Carry out all aspects of station work, including but not limited to, cattle husbandry practises, fencing, machinery and infrastructure maintenance, and machinery operation. 

• Adhere to the guidance of the station management staff. 

 

Essential Criteria: 

• Strong focus on safety and animal welfare. 

• Experience with handling livestock. 

• Manual driver’s license. 

• Able to proficiently handle a horse and/or bike. 

• Motivated and hard-working. 

• Willingness to be part of a small versatile team. 

• Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment. 

• Possess sufficient fitness level to carry out required tasks. 

 

Desired criteria: 

• Previous experience on Northern cattle stations. 

 

Renumeration/package includes: 

• Attractive remuneration package for the right candidate based on skill level. 

• Training to gain a certificate III or IV in Agriculture is available. 

• Comfortable shared accommodation, with food provided.

• 5 weeks annual leave.
