STATION HAND

Permanent station hand position now available on a large, well established cattle trading property, situated 30 minutes from Singleton NSW. 

 

Applicants must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be physically fit, honest, reliable and willing to learn new skills.

JOB TYPE: Full time (This is a long-term position)

REMUNERATION: Above award wages, negotiable depending on skills and experience.

START DATE: Immediately

JOB DESCRIPTION | Station hand duties include:

• Cattle mustering on horse and stock work with working dogs

• Fencing

• Weed eradication

• Workshop skills

• General property maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• The successful applicant must possess capable horse skills and stock sense, together with their own working dogs and horses. 

• A keen interest in livestock (cattle) handling.

• Current driver's licence.

• You will be expected to complete your work in a safe and timely manner.

• Must be honest, reliable and take instruction.

• To take responsibility for tasks which require you to work independently or within a team.
