Job Description: Permanent positions are available for Station Hands to commence work on our client’s beef cattle breeding property located very close to Blackall, QLD. Reporting to and working alongside the Manager and other staff members, the successful applicants will present with previous experience in a similar position, have sound cattle experience or a rural background.

  • The Station Hands will be involved with both cattle work and property maintenance requirements. All cattle mustering is conducted with motor bikes, buggies and helicopters and it essential to have mustering and cattle processing experience.

  • Weaner education is conducted with horses however, it is not essential to have horse ability, just a willingness to learn.

  • You will be actively involved with property maintenance requirements including CAPEX projects, these duties include: implementation of tanks, troughs and pipe lines, fencing and yard building.

  • Machinery operation experience of graders, loaders and tractors is also viewed favourably.
