Job Description:

AAM Investment Group's Maryfield Station is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join the team.


Reporting to the Station Manager, this Diesel Mechanic role will support the daily operations and planned development projects at the station. 


ABOUT MARYFIELD STATION:

  • Located next to some of the best fishing, swimming, and sight seeing spots in NT.

  • Maryfield is in a prime location just off the Stuart Highway with all weather, year round access, only a short drive from Daly Waters and with Katherine a few hours away to the north.

  • The station has top of the range facilities including a 10,000 head feedlot and spelling facility, man made beach and a beautifully landscaped homestead complex.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Mechanic will be responsible for servicing and maintaining plant and equipment, carrying out repairs and keeping accurate service records.

Job Requirements:

  • Must hold a Diesel Mechanic trade certificate or similar.

  • Must hold a current manual Drivers License.

  • Auto electrical and / or automotive air conditioner experience desirable.

  • Steel fabrication & welding experience desirable.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

  • Experience working in a remote environment highly regarded.
