Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Weighbridge Administration Officer.

  • Located 30 minutes from Roma

  • Australian owned and operated cattle and beef industry leader

Brindley Park Feedlot, conveniently located just 30 minutes from Roma, has carrying capacity of 17,000 standard cattle units, with diverse cattle types from long fed Wagyu through to mid fed export cattle and a range of feeding programs, plus development approval to double the capacity, there are plenty of growth and development opportunities to come!

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Administration Manager, the weigbridge officer takes primary responsibility for timely and accurate processing of all weighbridge activities along with:

  • Professional liaison and communication with a range of visitors, suppliers, staff and drivers

  • Accurately and timely collection, recording & processing of data and information

  • Effective utilisation of livestock data systems (eg StockaID and FY3000 or similar)

  • Highly Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Reporting on weighbridge activities as required

  • Providing back up support/relief to other administration team members

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills and time management ability

  • Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills

  • Sound written communication & numeracy

  • Accuracy and high attention to detail

  • Computer literacy and experience in livestock data systems

  • Drivers' Licence
