Job Description:

Due to rapid growth of operations, Camm Agricultural Group seeks to appoint an additional full-time Livestock Station Hand for our Wonga Plains feedlot in Bowenville, QLD.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inducting, scanning and processing of cattle

  • Daily pen riding or walking to conduct animal health and welfare checks

  • Paddock mustering on horseback or two-wheelers

  • Routine cleaning and maintenance of livestock pens and water troughs

  • Cleaning and general care of feedlot vehicles

  • Other duties as required in the daily operation of the feedlot

Job Requirements:

  • Cattle handling experience required

  • Experience operating buggies and motorbikes

  • Horse riding skills are preferred but not essential as bikes and buggies are used too.

  • Commitment to safe working practices

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Organised, reliable and trustworthy

  • A team player with a positive attitude
