Job Description:

We seek an experienced Station Mechanic to join our operations at Liveringa Station, WA.  This role offers a great opportunity to join an exciting, industry leading Agribusiness.


Liveringa Station spans over 267,000 hectares located in the picturesque West Kimberley Region on the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River. The property is an extensive beef cattle breeding operation running 25,000 head cattle alongside a hugely successful irrigated farming operation. Liveringa mustering involves helicopters, horses and motorbikes based on low stress stock handling techniques. Located only two hours from the tourist town of Broome, Liveringa is well situated to access all that the Kimberley has to offer.


Our team regularly attends training courses such as horsemanship and livestock handling in order to upskill employees. Throughout the year we attend local horse and social events in the area. Liveringa prides itself on teamwork and community, where all team members are valued and respected, and play an integral part in the successful and smooth running of the station.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Station Manager, your key duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Establish and manage the maintenance program for all station vehicles, plant and machinery

  • Implement the maintenance program and carry out repairs as required

  • Undertake regular services according to the maintenance schedule

  • Carry out repairs and overhauls as required

  • Procure and organise materials and equipment

  • Maintain an efficient and safe workshop

  • Manage the spare parts inventory.

Job Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as a mechanic or equivalent

  • Driver’s licence (class C)

  • Experience working as a mechanic in similar environment is desirable but not essential

  • Ability to read and interpret workplace-related documentation

  • Sound written and spoken communication skills

  • Sound organisational and problem-solving skills

  • A genuine passion for agriculture..
