Yarranbrook Feedlot is a specialist beef cattle lot-feeding, backgrounding, and irrigated farming operation based in the heart of the Queensland’s Border Rivers area.
Located close to Inglewood (an hour from Goondiwindi), Yarranbrook Feedlot is a joint venture between Mort & Co and premium Wagyu producer, Stone Axe Pastoral.
The feedlot’s strategic location and well-appointed infrastructure accommodates both short and long-fed cattle programs to service a combination of market segments.

Job Description:
Yarranbrook Feedlot are currently seeking passionate individuals with cattle handling experience to join our Livestock Team at Yarranbrook Feedlot on a full time, part time or casual basis.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
As part of the livestock team on site you will be responsible for the following:
Receive cattle, cattle movements, dispatch, inductions, and pen riding.
Hospital treatments and returns, weight checks and receiving/storage of drenches/drugs on site.
Work cattle on horse and foot, checking cattle, bunks, troughs, and hospital areas on site.
Mustering in backgrounding paddocks and acclimation of all cattle at operational site.
General cleaning and maintenance of all operational areas on site.
Job Requirements:
Previous cattle handling and horse-riding experience is advantageous.
A keen attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to embody company values.
A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and co-operative approach while working under pressure.
