You’ll be working at Whyalla Beef, one of Australia’s largest and technically innovative feedlots. With a current capacity of 55,000 head, this will grow to 75,000 head when expansion works are completed by mid-2024. Located in the Southern Downs, 25km northwest of Texas on the Queensland / New South Wales border. The town of Texas is perched on the banks of the picturesque Dumaresq River.

Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time cook to join our camp team at Whyalla Beef. As our camp cook you will be responsible for preparing and cooking home style meals for up to 35 people.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Within this position you will be responsible for providing home style dinners for staff, making biscuits, cakes and desserts, cater to relevant allergies/dietary restrictions as needed, clean and prepare guest rooms for various station visitors when required and maintain a tidy dining room area.
Job Requirements:
Cooking experience required
Demonstrated experience in following Food Safety
Ability to adhere to Food Safety
A team player
Great work ethic and good communication skills
Willingness to learn
