We are currently hiring at Grassdale, which employs 110 team members and is licensed for 70,000 SCUs, making it the largest feedlot in Australia:

LIVESTOCK HANDS | GRASSDALE FEEDLOT | DALBY, QLD:

Key functions of the role include:

  • Drafting, processing and livestock movements.

  • Data entry/processing and accurate record-keeping using specialist feedlot systems.

  • Pen riding and hospital treatments as required

Preferred skills/ experience:

  • On foot cattle experience preferable but not a necessity.

  • Your own team of sensible workhorses and gear, with previous livestock and horsemanship experience preferred.

  • A keen attitude, willingness to learn, ability to contribute positively to the team and embody company values.

  • A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and ability to work a ten on/four off roster.

  • Facility Maintenance

MAINTENANCE HANDS | GRASSDALE, DALBY, QLD:

Functions:

  • Machinery operation (including front end loader, skid steer, tractors, trucks)

  • General site maintenance (including concreting, weed control, water supply)

  • General fabrication and repair of feedlot equipment

  • Yard maintenance and repair

  • Plant and site hygiene and housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Previous maintenance, welding and mechanical experience would be advantageous

  • A keen attitude and willingness to learn

  • Solid communication skills and ability to prioritise critical tasks

  • A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
